Georges Dabaghi, General Manager, Middle East Region, SeaChange - On Demand Group
Georges Dabaghi joined SeaChange in 2010 as general manager overseeing Middle East regional sales market development and setup for the content management subsidiary On Demand Group (ODG). Dabaghi is also responsible for establishing opportunities for SeaChange IPTV middleware and video servers, multi-screen video solutions and the on-demand software products. His expertise vastly spans commercial broadband, wireless technologies and content service creation & management.
Dabaghi has operated in the Middle Eastern and African telecommunications industry for more than 16 years, supporting fixed and wireless networks projects for key regional operators. He held senior management positions with Motorola’s Home & Networks Mobility division, SITA, Nortel Networks, and Lucent Technologies. His telecommunications focus began with development and research roles at AT&T Network Systems and the NASA Center at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor – USA.
Dabaghi holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from McGill University (Canada); a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan (USA); and a Bachelors of Electronic & Electrical Engineering with first class honors from Loughborough University (UK).
